Brian Thurman - Pastor

Pastor Brian has been our pastor since 2013. He is a devoted follower of Christ, dedicated to teaching God’s Word and leading the church into a deeper relationship with the Lord. He has been married to his wife Jennifer since 2002 and is the father of two sons, Seth and Samuel.

Our Vision

To transform this community and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to change the world. God is our creator and He has designed the world to operate a certain way. Because of the brokenness that was caused by sin, mankind chooses to operate in a way that is different from what God designed. This has caused our society to be filled with trouble. When we understand our need for Jesus, accepting Him as our Savior and Lord, and live by God’s design revealed to us through the Bible, our lives will be changed. When individual lives change, a community can change and the world can change.

We also believe that one of the best ways to do that in a church our size is to organize people into small groups, which we call “Sunday School”. Regardless of your walk in life, there is a place for you! We have Sunday School classes for all ages from preschool to senior adults.

Sunday School

Our children’s Sunday School is an important part of our ministry to children. Starting in the Nursery, we begin teaching our children the truths of God and the Bible. They learn more and more through the years as they move up in classes. We have a wonderful teachers who are dedicated to our children and their spiritual growth. Sunday School is Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

This ministry depends solely on volunteers and donations. The ministry sells donated items for pennies on the dollar, from its 5,000 square feet store. Items include clothing, accessories, household items, novelty items, children’s toys, odds & ends, and furniture. In the store you will find that items are organized in departments with each item categorized for easy availability. While the store ministers to those in need, anyone is welcome to shop. All items are sold for pennies on the dollar. All clothing on the sales floor is completely rotated for the current season. All unsold clothes are sent overseas.
